Strategy
Once you get to the tree, it will talk to you. After it is done it will open it's mouth for you to enter. Once you enter there will be two different types of plants. Kill the tall ones to get some Deku Sticks and kill the other ones to get some Deku Nuts. Once they are dead, find the ladder and climb it. Walk around on the second floor until you get to a chest with a bunch of spiders around it on the wall. 1)Open the chest to get the map. Keep walking around until you get to a door. Enter the door and you will see a Deku Scrub. Lock on to it and block with your shield. He will shoot a nut at you. It will hit your shield and bounce right back at him. Once it hits him be sure to go and talk to him before he goes back in the floor. He will give you a heart. Enter the next door. Jump onto the platform and then jump on the ledge before you fall. There should be a chest on the ledge and some more enemies. Kill the plants and open the chest. 2)Get your Slingshot. Jump off the ledge and look up at the ladder hanging on the wall. Lock onto it using Z and shoot it with your slingshot. The ladder will fall. Climb up it and go back out through both doors and go back to the chest where you got the map. Lock onto the spiders on the wall and shoot them with the slingshot. There are three of them. After you kill them, climb the wall to the third floor. Walk around the third floor. When a big spider comes down wait until it turns around and hit it in the back. It takes two hits to kill it. Keep walking until you come to a door. Open the door and step on the switch to get the three stumps to come up. Jump onto the first and then the second and jump onto the ledge to the left. Watch out for the big spider. Open the chest to get a heart and kill the Gold Skulltula to get your token. Jump off the ledge and climb back up the wall to hit the switch again. This time jump on all the stumps and then to the other ledge. 3)Open the chest to get your compass. Jump off the ledge and climb up the wall where the door is. Take out a Deku Stick and light it with the torch. Take the stick to the unlit torch and light it. This will open up the door. Go out and walk around until you see a ledge with a heart in front of you. 4)Jump off the ledge to get the heart and land on the spider web below to advance to Basement 1. Once your in B1 you should see a switch. Step on the switch to light the torch on the other side. Jump across to the other side and get the chest behind the torch. Light a Deku Stick with the torch and jump in the water between all three lands. This way your stick doesn't go out. Jump to the side you where on first and burn away the spider web to reveal a door. Open the door and defeat the Deku Scrub the same way you did with the first one. Shoot the eye above the door and open that door. Once you enter you should see a rolling log with spikes. Jump into the water and swim against the left wall until you see a switch under the water. Dive down and hit the switch to lower the water. Jump back up to where you entered. Jump on the moving platform to get to the other side. Push the block half way and jump on it to get on the ledge with another door. In this room light all the torches to advance to the next one. Be careful in this room. There is spiders falling from the ceiling. The fastest way to get out is to light the stick and run down the hall to burn away the spider webs. Climb through the hole to advance to the first room you where in when you got to B1. Push the block into the water and kill the Gold Skulltula to get your token. Jump to the other side and light a stick. Jump back on the block and to the other side. 5)Burn the spiderweb on the floor that leads to Basement 2. Jump down to B2 and get the hearts in the water. Kill the Deku Scrubs in the 2,3,1 order to advance to Queen Gohma.
